Zegna Forest is a multi-year program of great commitment to preserve the environment and the woods of the Oasi Zegna. These forests of 500,000 conifers were born at the behest of Ermenegildo Zegna who at the beginning of the twentieth century gave birth to a reforestation work, reviving an arid and exploited mountain. The first phase of intervention began in February with a selective felling work on a portion of the forest of 16 hectares that presented particular critical issues. We will progressively proceed with the planting of tree species more suited to the current climatic conditions.
“Taking care is not a duty, it is always spontaneous, it comes from the heart, with enthusiasm and generosity. We will continue to plant trees, it will not be a solitary gesture, but a collective gesture” (Anna Zegna).
