Established in 2009, from the merger of Cordar Energia srl and Cordar.it, ENER.BIT is a company 51% owned by the Province of Biella and 49% by Cordar Spa Biella Servizi.

ENER.BIT deals with the public lighting projects of the Province of Biella and its efficiency with sensors and materials that allow greater energy savings and the "Public Buildings 2.0" project to improve the electrical, thermal and hydraulic sustainability of public buildings. In the field of mobility, ENERBIT has collaborated with the Polytechnic of Turin to map the points of the province where 164 columns for charging electric cars will be installed. ENER.BIT would also like to activate a project to raise awareness on the spread of electric motorcycles or bicycles with pedal assistance.
