The Biella Consortium The Wool Company is made up of a group of Biella subcontracting companies, each specialized in its own sector, which together form a textile chain for the farmer (from greasy to washed, spun and combed). The various processes are carried out and followed in Biella, in a context of full traceability and respect for the environment. The former Lanificio Botto has been waiting for the beginning of a new life for 20 years, and today thanks to the meeting with professionals from the world of entertainment, museums and tourism, architects, photographers, documentary makers and archivists, the Miagliano center is living a further expansion phase of the project that would not have been possible without the passion for wool. By wrenching large portions of the historic but abandoned former wool mill from the decline, alongside the activities of the Consortium for the protection and enhancement of European indigenous wools, initiatives of an artistic, cultural, educational and tourist nature are organized under the Wool Experience project, which has in wool its vital fulcrum.
