Open School of the Third Paradise is a social learning space launched at Cittadellarte in collaboration with Associazionedidee. This educational prototype, aimed at children ages 6 to 10, has sought from the beginning to establish partnerships with public schools and local organizations, engaging experts from various fields to foster exchanges with all entities interested in promoting local organizational transformations. This aspect of institutional collaboration is as important as the educational research itself, which develops in line with the broader vision of the “Learning Archipelago.”

In summary, we identify those entities that:

• diversify resources and learning pathways for students,
• have an educational and community-oriented mission,
• activate and share learning resources from diverse sources in innovative ways,
• are dynamic in structure and open to new boundaries,
• are supported by effective infrastructure,
• encompass institutions of formal and informal learning, both traditional and innovative,
• adopt distributed governance,
• protect students' autonomy with targeted organization,
• connect all spaces where students live, work, and play: schools, libraries, museums, parks, clubs, community centers, religious centers, homes, and online environments.
