The Dolphin is an association that operates in the social welfare sector in the municipality of Valdilana. It provides residents of the municipality of Trivero with some services, such as transport for elderly people and people with disabilities, delivery of meals and medicines at home, entertainment activities at the nursing home, support in situations of socio-economic hardship (TRIamicoVERO project), management of the Senior Meeting Center (Incontriamoci in Trivero project). The association has two vehicles for the transport of people with disabilities, three vehicles for the transport service for the elderly, one for home delivery of meals and finally a minibus for transport to the Meeting Center. Volunteers work in collaboration with the social services of the territory, with general practitioners, with the municipal administration and with other associations of the municipality, in order to coordinate resources.
