The Upper Cervo Valley is an uncontaminated place, both for its natural conformation and for the phenomenon of depopulation that has been observed for years. It is an area characterized by a high quality of life and which can be defined as "intact", also from an architectural point of view, since the houses and buildings that date back to the thirties have been maintained in the same way over time. In the main street there is the ecomuseum, once the seat of professional schools, where today it is possible to learn about the tradition of the workers who have made bridges, roads with syenite (a variety of fine granite of which the Upper Valley is rich) and monuments around the world. The Municipality of Campiglia Cervo has started a process for the implementation of long-term sustainable choices, to motivate the inhabitants to stay and at the same time to encourage the presence of visitors. In fact, it has replaced the old lighting with LED lights in public buildings and is planning the renewal of street lighting, the expansion of the gas network and the installation of 3 charging stations for electric cars. The internet has also been enhanced, for this reason those who live in Campiglia and work from home can use the same service with the same quality that they can find in large cities.
