The company was founded and operates in the mountain area, in the Cervo Valley. The last 50-60 years have seen the depopulation of the villages and the cessation of most of the agricultural and artisan activities with the consequent progressive abandonment of the territory. The strong bond that has always united Riccardo's family to the valley and his humanities studies, determined his choice to stay and live in the valley and undertake agricultural activity. Riccardo has recovered some portions of land where he grazes his native breed cows, the red spotted Oropa, which feed on alpine fodder and produce excellent quality milk. Riccardo has also improved the botanical varieties of the meadows, regimented the waters to reduce soil erosion and kept the tall woods. In this sense, the company works by combining development and sustainability, thanks to the use of all those resources that the mountains offer. The company, certified organic, uses electricity from solar panels, is committed to reducing the use of plastic in favor of the use of glass for the packaging of yogurt and jams, reuses the by-products of milk processing for feeding of animals. In the farmhouse, guests are served food and seasonal products at km 0.
